How To Apply Your Sistaco Colour

To apply your Sistaco colour correctly, identify the type of powder you are using first, and apply it using the correct method for your chosen powder. You can find the powder type written on the bottom of the powder pot

How To Apply Classic Powders

Sistaco has over 100 shades in our powder collection and we’re not just all about the glitter and sparkle! We have all kinds of classic colours that never go out of style! Our powder collection ranges from muted beige tones to bright, warm shades.

Step 1

If using the 36W Marble LED Lamp for the first time, remove the protective blue film on the underside before use. Wash nails with oil free soap to remove any oils and residue. Dry thoroughly. Lightly buff the nail bed to extend wear.

Step 2

Apply a thin layer of base coat to the nail while avoiding the skin. After application, the base coat should look smooth.

Step 3

Connect your LED Lamp, press the button once and set your nails under the lamp until it automatically turns off. Your nail should not be completely dry.

Step 4

For Mineral Bond Applicator:

Gently dip applicator vertically into the powder to evenly coat the sponge. Apply to the nail from base to tip in light strokes. Continue until powder sets into the base coat. Do not rub back and forth.

For Brush/Pad Applicator:

Gently dip the brush end vertically into the powder. Gently brush on to the nail from base to tip in light strokes. Continue until powder sets into the base coat. Do not rub back and forth.

Step 5

Gently apply a thin layer of top coat, making sure there is enough top coat on the applicator that you do not pull powder from the nail.

Step 6

Press the button on the LED lamp once and set your nails until it automatically turns off. Wipe away any excess powder. Now show off your flawless nails!

How To Apply Holographic and Metallic Powders

Our Holographic and Metallic powders are applied differently than the classic range. If you want a longer application, follow the instructions for “Step 2 For Long Wear”. If you like to change your holographic or metallic colours frequently, follow the ‘Step 2 For Short Wear’ instructions.

Step 1

Wash nails with oil free soap to remove any oils. Dry thoroughly and buff nail lightly

Step 2

For Long Wear

Apply a thin layer of base coat to the nail while avoiding the skin. DO NOT set. Immediately apply a thin layer of top coat over the base coat, also ensuring avoidance of skin.

For Short Wear:

Apply top coat to the nail while avoiding the skin. Top coat is applied alone without base coat.

Step 3

Connect your LED Lamp, press and hold button on top for 3 seconds and set your nails until it automatically turns off (this should be 2 minutes).

Step 4

Gently dip either type of sponge applicator (if using Mineral Bond applicator , dip vertically) into powder to evenly coat . Rub applicator back and forth on to the nail. Repeat in thin layers if required.

Step 5

Gently apply a thin layer of top coat, making sure there is enough top coat on the applicator, so that you do not pull powder from the nail. Your brush should hardly touch the nail plate.

Step 6

Press and hold the button on the top for 3 seconds and set your nails until it automatically turns off (this should be 2 minutes). Remove excess powder with our Retractable Brush, wash nails thoroughly to remove any excess. Dry thoroughly and condition daily with our Jojoba Elixir to help with longevity and keep your nails moisturised.

How To Apply Matte Powders

Step 1

Apply a fine coating of Base Coat..

Step 2

Set under an LED lamp for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Use the Mineral Bond Applicator, dab it into the powder, and apply by pressing down onto the nail. (Do not rub; just tap up and down over the surface of the base coat.) Continue to apply powder by dabbing until full coverage is obtained.

Step 4

Remove excess powder by brushing lightly. Then apply a thin layer of Top Coat.

Step 5

Set it under an LED lamp for 2 minutes until completely dry.
